SIKKIM HIMALAYAS HONEYMOON TOUR

Highlights : The capital of the erstwhile kingdom of Sikkim, now an independent state of India, Gangtok is one of the beautiful hill stations offering the breathtaking views of the mighty Kanchenjunga as well as other mountain peaks in the vicinity. Situated at an altitude of 1780 msl, it is a hub of all activities happening in the state and a modern city with all amenities. One can enjoy the pleasures of the mountain flights that give one an even closer and an aerial view of the peaks and the lush green valleys.

Day 1: Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri (railway station) drive to Gangtok
Arrive Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri. Reception on arrival and transfer by road to Gangtok the capital of the nearby state of Sikkim. Check into the hotel on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Gangtok
Full day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Gangtok - Tsorngo - Nathu La
Full-day excursion to Tsorngo Lake and Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary en route to Nathu La. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Gangtok - Rumtek - Martam
Drive to Rumtek Monastery. In the afternoon proceed to Martam Village Resort. Check into hotel on arrival. Overnight at the resort.

Day 5: Martam - Song - Singtam - Gangtok
Drive beyond Martam for a visit to Song and Singtam visiting cardamom plantations en route. Return to Gangtok and check into the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Gangtok
Full day at leisure. Experience the nightlife of a hill station. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Gangtok - Siliguri
Early morning drive down to Siliguri en route visiting Rangpo and Ranipool. Check into hotel on arrival at Siliguri. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Drive Siliguri - Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri
Transfer to the airport/railway station for onward journey.
