MAURITIUS
HONEYMOON TOUR
Highlights : Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean off the east African coast,
is one of the most sought-after destinations for the international
traveler. Famous for its beaches and its serenity, Mauritius has a
very well developed tourism industry and, being a tourism-based economy,
it has been given a lot of stress on its infrastructure.
Availing the adventure sports facilities which are of international
standards, one can indulge in either aero sports like parasailing
and paragliding as also water sports like scuba diving, snorkeling,
and submarine rides. One can also participate in fishing, surfing
and sailing. Accommodation is available to suit all budgets and
classes, from dormitories to 5-star deluxe hotels, as also camp
sites for the more adventurous at heart.
The local population consists of by and large friendly and hospitable
people and welcomes the tourist.

Best Time : July-September, Least pleasant period January to
April, Dec. through March is the best time for diving in the
clearest waters; June through August is best for surfing; and
October to April is excellent for big game fishing.

Day 01 : Fly Delhi - Mumbai - Mauritius
Early morning transfer to the airport for flight to Mumbai. Reception
on arrival and transfer to the international airport for flight
to Mauritius. Arrival at Mauritius. Reception on arrival and transfer
to the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight
at the hotel in Mauritius.
Day 02 : At Mauritius
After breakfast proceed on a full-day sightseeing tour to grand
basin, one of the islands with two natural lakes and a host of other
places of tourist attraction. The tour passes through black river
gorges to arrive at Chamarel - the place where seven colors of
the earth can be seen. These patches of blue, green, red and yellow
are believed to be result of weathering. Evening at leisure. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 03 : At Mauritius
After breakfast proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour to Ile aux
Cerfs, an island resort with miles and miles of fine sand and crystal
clear water. One can also enjoy water activities (optional). Evening
at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : At Mauritius
After breakfast proceed towards Pamplemousses Garden, which is known
throughout the world for its large collection of exotic plants.
Later proceed on a half-day sightseeing tour
of the capital city of Port Louis. Visit the harbor, lying sheltered
in a semicircle of mountains, an exotic site indeed. Browse around
at the Port Louis market shop. Evening at leisure. Overnight at
the hotel.
Day 05 : At Mauritius
Day free for rest and leisure activities. Enjoy the "under-sea
walk", a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take a walk on the
ocean bed and watch the fabulous marine life and coral formations
as also a submarine ride can be arranged on request (optional).
One can rediscover the old ways of living in an environment surrounded
by nature with old traditions carefully revived. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 06 : At Mauritius
Day free for rest and leisure activities. Enjoy water sports at
the beach. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Leave Mauritius for onward destination
After breakfast transfer to the airport for flight for Mumbai. Arrive
Mumbai. Reception on arrival and transfer to the domestic airport
for onward flight to Delhi.
