LAKSHADWEEP ISLAND
HONEYMOON TOUR
Highlights : Lakshadweep, a Union Territory of India, is a group of 36 coral islands
located in the Arabian Sea, about 300 km off Kerala. Ten of the islands
are inhabited by simple, peace-loving folk whose language is close
to that spoken in Kerala. The islanders have lifestyles and occupations
that revolve around coconut, cultivation, coir matting and fishing.
Even today, nothing is actually produced in the islands themselves,
and everything comes from the 'mainland', as India is somewhat quaintly
referred to there. Tourism's major focus is on water sports, as
each of the islands are surrounded by a coral reef providing large
areas of crystal clear water for everything from snorkeling to wind
surfing.
Of these islands, only five are open to tourism and are the most
sought-after tourism destinations. Boasting of some of the most
beautiful and virgin beaches in the world, Lakshadweep Isles in
the Indian Ocean's Lakshadweep Sea are surrounded by lagoons and
are ideal for water sports.
Tourism is restricted to ensure that the environment is not ecologically
damaged. Bangaram, the resort for international tourists, is uninhabited.
The four islands open to domestic tourism include Kavaratti (the
administrative capital), Kalpeni, rich in coral and marine life,
Kadamat, known for its fine beaches, and Minicoy which has one of
the largest lagoons in the archipelago. Agatti has beautiful lagoons
and the airport is located here.

Please Note: The travel time from Cochin to
Agatti Island is 24 Hrs by ship. The class of travel is by A/c Chair
car as there are NO Cabins in the ship and the guests have to spend

Cochin. Ships are NOT available on all days, but they operate
according to a published schedule.

The above 05 are the Ships operating between Cochin & Agatti island.
For your information limited cabins without windows (on first booked
first conformed basis) are available only in m.v Tipu Sultan &
m.v Kavaratti. There are no cabins in other ships and the class of
journey is by A/c Chair Car on other ships. The travel time from Kochi (Cochin) to
Agatti island is 24 Hours and the passengers have to spend the night
in the push-back air conditioned chair which for ship journey's are
better than cabins. The ships offer different classes of
accommodation; A/C Deluxe Class with two berth cabins, A/C First
Class with four berth cabins and Tourist Class with A/C seating. The
ships have cafeteria and snack bars, entertainment lounge, video
shows and upper-deck promenade etc in MV Tipu Sultan and MV Bharat
Seema.
All visitors (BOTH Indian & Foreign Nationals) to Lakshadweep
Islands require Entry Permit. For arranging the entry permit, the
following details should be submitted at the time of package

Cancellation has to be done at least ONE MONTH before the Check-in date 70 %
of the Advance amount will be refunded. There will be NO Refunds for

A Visa is a must to enter India for Foreign nationals. You can contact the
Indian Embassy / High Commission in your country for the same. It is best to
carry your passport with you all the time. You may also carry a travel

All visitors (BOTH Indian & Foreign Nationals) to Lakshadweep Islands
require Entry Permit which shall be arranged by our representatives in Cochin
(Kochi).
Que. 6: How many Islands can I stay in Lakshadweep Islands ?.
We are dealing ONLY with Two Islands (Agatti & Bangaram) where both Indian
Nationals and Foreigners can visit & stay.
Que. 7: Cabins available in ships for travel to Lakshadweep island ?.
Cabins are NOT available in the Tourist Ships (M.V. Amindivi & m.v. Minicoy)
to Agatti island. Cabins are available in M.V. Tipu Sulthan and M.V. Bharatseema
which operates only once in a while.
Que. 8: Can i access Bangaram island by ship ?.
Bangaram Island CANNOT be accessed by Ship and can be accessed ONLY by Air
Que. 9: Can I access Lakshadweep island by Helicopter ?.
There is NO Helicopter service to Lakshadweep islands till date

There are no fixed dates for the packages. The Exclusive packages are operated
according to the convenience of the guest. However for ship packages, the
