Highlights : Lakshadweep, a Union Territory of India, is a group of 36 coral islands
located in the Arabian Sea, about 300 km off Kerala. Ten of the islands
are inhabited by simple, peace-loving folk whose language is close
to that spoken in Kerala. The islanders have lifestyles and occupations
that revolve around coconut, cultivation, coir matting and fishing.
Even today, nothing is actually produced in the islands themselves,
and everything comes from the 'mainland', as India is somewhat quaintly
referred to there. Tourism's major focus is on water sports, as

areas of crystal clear water for everything from snorkeling to wind
surfing.
Of these islands, only five are open to tourism and are the most
sought-after tourism destinations. Boasting of some of the most

are ideal for water sports.
Tourism is restricted to ensure that the environment is not ecologically
damaged. Bangaram, the resort for international tourists, is uninhabited.
The four islands open to domestic tourism include Kavaratti (the
administrative capital), Kalpeni, rich in coral and marine life,
Kadamat, known for its fine beaches, and Minicoy which has one of
the largest lagoons in the archipelago. Agatti has beautiful lagoons

ABOUT AGATTI ISLAND BEACH RESORT
Agatti Island Resort is located in the most serene spot of the
Island. Agatti Island Beach Resorts offers some of the best swimming
beaches in the world. The resort has a good beach and lagoon on to
its front. The lagoon is huge, shallow, leaving a lot of space for a
good swim. Additional beauty is added by the numerous coconut trees
surrounding the resort.
Agatti Island Beach Resort offers nineteen independent cottages, Air
conditioned and Non Air conditioned. There are two categories of
cottages: Standard Cottages and Deluxe Rooms. Standard cottages are
located on the beach in between lush green coconut trees. They are
smaller than the Deluxe rooms but as much cozy. Deluxe rooms are
located on the beach and are beach facing. The rooms are quiet large
with added facilities like refrigerator and television (only in Air
conditioned cottage). All cottages are eco-friendly and have a calm
atmosphere.
The average transfer time from the Agatti Airport is a two minute
walk. There is a specialized restaurant at the beach resort. Guests
are served continental, Chinese and local cuisine. Jain food is also
served at the restaurant. Guests are given the option of indoor or
outdoor dining. Special arrangements are made for guests who wish to
have the food outside, under the cool shade of the tall coconut
trees. Moreover, Barbeque are arranged for guests who catch fish
from the lagoon.
To keep you comfortable on land, many are the luxuries in store.
Outdoors you have sugary white beaches, swaying palms, soothing
winds and a spectacular view of the sea. No other place in India

ABOUT BANGARAM ISLAND BEACH RESORT
The Bangaram Island Resort at Bangaram Island offers you a variety
of outdoor pursuits - scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing,
kayaking and so on. A well-equipped and professionally manned Scuba
Diving facility is available at the resort. As a diving location,
the virgin reefs of Bangaram have been ranked by experienced divers
as being among the best anywhere. Recently an ancient shipwreck was
discovered.
Besides coral, the reef abounds in undersea life, particularly game
fish and turtles. Diving sites are off the reefs and are reached by
boat.
Diving courses and lagoon diving are offered for beginners. Diving
is permitted only within safe depths around 30 meters. Visitors can
avail of a decompression chamber, except from 15 May to 15 September

Bangaram Island Beach Resort on this island provides an amazing

modern life. Two small islands of Thinnakara and Parali also lie

Accommodation on the island is simple, unpretentious, yet
comfortable. Set in 128 acres, there are 30 tiled -roof beach huts,
each with its own palm-thatched verandah, en suite bathroom, ceiling
fan and fridge.
In a bit to preserve Bangram's unique environment, a hotel
atmosphere is avoided intentionally, but there are enough creature
comforts to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one. There are also
four bungalows, which are bigger and offer more privacy. At the
heart of the resort is the restaurant hut. It's a little
architectural marvel, being made entirely out of bamboo and palm
fronds, around one tall central pole

Bangaram Island CANNOT be accessed by Ship and can be accessed ONLY by Air

There is NO Helicopter service to Lakshadweep islands till date

The HIGH Tourist Season in Lakshadweep islands is from September to April &
the PEAK Tourist season is as under: Bangaram island resort - the PEAK Tourist
season is from 20 Dec - 10 Jan & from 1st Feb - 28 Feb 2009.
Agatti Island resort - the PEAK Tourist season is from 01 Dec - 20 Jan.

Sunday ?.
NO. Reservation availability status cannot be known on a Sunday. Reservation
availability can be known only on working days (Monday Saturday) between 10:00
Hrs and 17:30 Hrs
Que. 25: Are bathtubs available at the resorts in Agatti / Bangaram Islands?

NO. Bath tubes are not available at both the resorts

There are no fixed dates for the packages. The Exclusive packages are operated
according to the convenience of the guest. However for ship packages, the
packages are operated according to the published schedule of the ship. In order

The package includes whatever is mentioned in the package enclosure. Options
are not part of the package cost

Only 03 Adults are allowed to stay in a Double room with an extra mattress
(charges are applied for extra person)
Que. 31: How to Buy this Package?
For Booking any of the above package please follow below steps:
Step 1:
For booking above package, please send us passengers full
names, postal address, date of birth (in dd/mm/yyyy format), cell #,
mention category of room
and please deposit 25% as an on account tour package availability
advance payment into following bank account under information to us. In case
on your provided dates the accommodation is not available then you
have option to change dates and ask us to check availability again. In
case accommodation are not available and you wish to cancel
availability check after meeting 25% on account payment then we will
refund the advance amount minus deducting Rs. 200/- towards file
charges into your provided bank account details. Once the available
package is confirmed after availability check then balance payment of
75% is made to the same bank account to issue Confirm Hotel and
transport vouchers.

and you need to send us Travel details (air OR train travel) to us and

during the tour and present to Hotels. Two days before departure we
will email OR SMS Driver's and Vehicle's contact details.
